'' We will do part of his concerts in the U.S.''
'' It 's official, we're going on tour with Barbra Streisand. "The Marsala Ignatius Grove, Piero and Gianluca Barone Ginoble, the three members of the group'' Il Volo'', gave notice yesterday during the sensational ''Quelli che il calcio..." the Sunday program on Rai 2 hosted by Victoria Cabello.
"We received the proposal to be an integral part of his American concerts, and we will also talk about us recording with her own pieces."
In the Streisand tour, which will start in October 2012 in major U.S. arenas, the boys of'' Il Volo'' will be called upon to perform in a real show built with them from the great actress. The young musicians are already known in the States thanks to a few television appearances, on all that the talent show'' American Idol''.
The''tre tenorini" , so I renamed the young singers, have joined in 2009 after participating in the talent show on Rai 1 "Ti lascio una canzone." Presented themselves as soloists, they are then also performed as a trio, earning it the nickname cute. Il Volo is, however, the group name.
We have come a long way these young performers now the prestigious occasion, which adds to the success already achieved oltreocano, where their debut album has reached the top of the standings. The Editor of Marsalaviva.it predicts to Ignazio Boschetto and the entire group of' 'Il Volo' an outstanding international career.

ReplyDeleteI hope they are not seriously considering a concert tour with Streisand. She is old enough to be their grandmother and needs they alot more than they need her. She will chew them up and spit them out. They are better on their on than this.
ReplyDeleteThats awesome to hear :)
ReplyDeleteI agree. if they are going to appear with someone, I would much rather see them do some shows with Celine Dion instead of Barbra Streisand. Streisand is past her prime.
ReplyDeletethey can use the exposure and, after all, she is an icon in the music world.
ReplyDeleteThe only two positive things the tour gave them was an addition to their resume and maybe a bit more name recognition. It was, first & foremost, all about Barbra. People were paying big bucks to see her & no one else. She was only interested in having a talented group sing one song with her & fill in while she changed her costume. Unlike her son, she was not really interested in promoting them. From the reviews I've read, I'm not even sure that most of the audience realized that Il Volo was probably the best singing group in the world today.
