Willie Nelson, Styx, Tony Bennett and the Temptations are among the artists who will perform in concert this summer at Freedom Hill Amphitheatre in Sterling Heights, promoters announced Monday.
They are among the 25-30 shows that Il Volo will make up the schedule for the second year the outdoor venue has been under the operation of Luna Hillside LLC, the management company that revived the facility last year following a multi-year shutdown.
“Guests were so excited to see Freedom Hill come back last year bigger and better than before and our second season is shaping up to be another great summer at the Hill,” company owner Tom Celani said in a statement. Tickets for the following shows will go on sale at noon Friday: The Temptations and Four Tops, Styx, Foreigner and Don Felder, Willie Nelson and Alison Kraus & Union Station, Tony Bennett
Also, Il Volo will perform June 19 with ticket details to be released soon.
Dates for several popular festivals include Wolverine Harley Davidson Harley Fest June 14; Stars & Stripes Festival June 26-29; Festa Italiana July 18-20; and MoPop, Forever Festival and Chill on the Hill with dates and ticket information coming later.
VIP and season ticket holders will see some changes this season in new luxury seating in front of the stage, valet parking and pre-show dining provided by Andiamo in the D Las Vegas VIP Club.
