Billboard's Top 5 Classical Music Charts, Il Volo & Jackie Evancho In The Mix

The Billboard charts has seen some movement these pass couple of weeks with newcomers breaking into the top tier of the classical music charts and some cementing their place as one of the best acts of the year.
Likes of Placido Domingo have sled from the top ten while the likes of Andrea Bocelli surges up the charts.
Starting off the list is Dutchman Andre Rieu whose "Home For The Holidays," has displaced the London Symphony Orchestra's "The Greatest Video Game Music 2," for the No. 1 spot. The LPO isn't even in the top ten at the moment. Rieu's album has never left the top five for months as it continues battling it out with Jackie Evancho's "Sounds from the Silver Screen."
At No. 2 is the aforementioned Jackie Evancho and her "Sounds From The Silver Screen." Evancho is a much coveted talent and her hectic tour schedule is testament to that as the young singer is currently sweeping across the United States from coast to coast performing songs from her latest title.

This only being their second album, Il Volo the three teen tenor group has made it to No.3 on the charts with their recently released "We Are Love." The trio is coming off a big performance with Broadway icon Barbra Streisand earlier in the year and has been on the Billboard charts before with their first album which self entitled "Il Volo."
The group that comprises of Piero Barone, Ignazio Boschetto and Gianluca Ginoble were elated when they found out they were working with Streisand.
"That for us is very exciting," Boschetto says. "Our manager is a big fan of hers, so I started to know about her because of him, and then I got many CDs of hers...and I love her. We met her at (the recording session for) 'We Are the World (25 For Haiti)' in 2010. She's nice. I think that two years ago I was in my room playing PlayStation or with my friends playing (soccer). Now I'm here. We are having this big tour with Barbra Streisand, and we are going to sing with her. So I think the right words are that the dream is coming true."
Debuting at No. 4 on the charts is "Advent At Ephesus," by Benedictines Of Mary, Queen Of Apostles. This church based group is singing out of Gower, Missouri and members live a monastic life.
Rounding out the top five is The Piano Guys who have come to be a staple on the charts and like Andre Rieu have never really left the top five. The YouTube sensation utilizes cellos and pianos and every song they make only utilizes what they play themselves.

Il Volo We Are Love album review

Rate : 5/5
Il Volo  is back with their second album We are Love. Co-produced by Grammy winning producer Humberto Gatica and Tony Renis, this cd sends chills down your spine from beginning to end. It is clearly a masterpiece.
Beautifully interpreted , the album is emotionally intense.  Il Volo shines on the entire cd, offering perfect duets with Placido Domingo on Il Canto and Eros Ramazzotti on Cosi’ which is magnificent. They just take every song to another level. The harmony is flawless. The passion in their voices is pure delight whether on U2 cover Beautiful Day or the splendid version of the Aerosmith/Diane Warren Hit I don’t want to miss a thing. It is often even better than the original because the trio brings their unique touch of creativity. They also did justice to classics such as my first favorite Historia De Un Amor that tells the suffering after the death (or the loss) of a love. Just poignant.
Written by Diane Warren, I Bring You To My Senses  is an upcoming hit. Non Farmi Aspettare  is another highlight of this album and ends the album as strong as it began.
So We Are love is one of 2012 best albums. With their incredible voice on their debut record, they have conquered the world. With We are Love, Il Volo is going to dominate it.
