Il Volo brings their teenaged tenor voices to the Paramount
First there was Il Divo. Now, there’s Il Volo. Confused? So am I. Nevertheless, the second teenage operatic sensation from Italy (that would be Il Volo) is coming to Seattle’s Paramount Theatre on Oct. 2. Il Divo is set to perform there on July 24.
Read my earlier post on Il Divo here.
Il Volo is made up of tenors Piero Barone 18, Ignazio Borschetto 17 and Gianuca Ginoble 17. If I hadn’t stopped watching “American Idol” a few seasons ago I would have seem them on it last year.
Tickets go on sale Monday, April 16 at 10 a.m. at LLiveNation.com, Tickets.com 24-hour kiosk at the Paramount Theatre, or charge by phone 877-STG-4TIX .
More from the press release:
Their self titled debut CD debuted at No. 6 on the Billboard Top 200 Chart. Worldwide sales are approaching the one million mark. Already certified platinum in their homeland, the boys also appeared on major U.S. TV shows including “The Tonight Show with Jay Leno,” “Today Show,” “Good Morning America,” “The Talk,” “Ellen,” “Rachael Ray” and a surprise performance on the finale episode of HBO series “Entourage.”
