Il Volo released their new cd, We Are Love (Special Edition), May 28th on Interscope Records. The new offering will feature selections from their fall 2012 release We Are Love as well as five newly recorded songs including: One Direction's "Little Things," Sarah McLachlan's "Angel," "Surrender (Torna A Sorrento)," "Can You Feel The Love Tonight" and West Side Story's "Maria." We Are Love (Special Edition)was produced by Tony Renis and Humberto Gatica.
Il Volo's new PBS special, "Il Volo: We Are Love," was shot in Miami at The Fillmore Miami Beach at the Jackie Gleason Theater in March and will air nationally on PBS beginning June 1 (check local listings). The special was produced by Richard Jay-Alexander, directed by Scott Lochmus with Detroit PBS as the producing agent. Il Volo's debut PBS Special "Il Volo Takes Flight" has seen over 2,100 broadcasts between its original airing in March 2012, and again in June and December 2012.
Il Volo, Piero Barone (20), Gianluca Ginoble (18) and Ignazio Boschetto (18), released their self-titled debut album in April 2011 where is debuted at No. 10 on the Billboard Top 200 Charts and has gone on to sell over 1 million copies worldwide. Their astonishing vocals are reflected in their live cd/dvd set "Il Volo Takes Flight - Live From The Detroit Opera House" which include a mix of reimagined classics and original material. Il Volo's second studio album We Are Love was released last fall as the group finished up a North American headline tour and a guest spot on Barbra Streisand's tour. They will land tonight at Radio City Music Hall in NEW YORK FLIGHT, the trio's most famous Italian in the United States. A concert to celebrate the closing of this North American tour waiting to leave for Central and South America for another 27 dates up to the end of November. During the concerts the boys will present songs from the new album "Merry Christmas - The Christmas Album" which will be released through Interscope Records / Universal Music worldwide this fall and will be available in digital and traditional in Italy since November 26.
Tonight Gianluca, Ignazio and Piero will take the stage in the heart of Rockafeller's Center illuminated by 25,000 lights in front of an audience sold out (more than 5,000 tickets were sold within 48 hours), for a concert dedicated to the American public and not that you are in love with the amazing talent of the Flight attending many live that the three held around the world.
