IL Volo offers three shows in Argentina

A couple of months ago , Il Volo was in Buenos Aires to promote the Spanish version of their second album , Mas Que Amor, the same as from tomorrow presented at the Grand Rex . Mas Que Amor is composed of eight songs in Spanish , three in Italian, one in English and one bonus track in singing " Constantemente mia " with Mexican pop singer Belinda . This work , like its predecessor, is a clear example of the crossover phenomenon .

- How would you define your musical style ?
Piero : - As pop lyric . We want to make people understand that we are not opera singers , do not sing opera. The fact that , on this record, we've done duets with Placido Domingo, Eros Ramazzotti and Belinda shows that we can sing both pop and classical, and that is our signature. But we do not sing opera.

- What does it mean to you this second album ?

Gianluca : - Mainly it differs from the first in that were the most popular Italian songs , such as " O sole mio" or " Un amore così grande" . In the latter there are eight new songs , all in Spanish and only four covers : "Beautiful Day " by U2 , "I Do not Want To Miss A Thing " , which popularized Aerosmith, and large boleros such as "Historia de un Amor" .

Piero : - For an artist , the second album is the most important of his career because he is to confirm what was done with the first , we must make people understand who we really are . In addition , our dream is to listen to the fans , listening to the public at our concert sing our songs.

Ignazio : - It is also the means to be able to tour the world come to tour the United States and now starts for us in Latin America.

- You were in many cities in recent years , is there any to you would like to return to visit or to live ?

Piero : - do not have a favorite city . We like to discover the art of each country , new races, new religions . In fact , before getting on the plane , we began to study a little more about the place . But a city where we will surely go live is Los Angeles .

- Is there any language that you like better to sing?

Piero : 'We like to sing in Spanish .

Gianluca : - And we'd sing in Portuguese. The good thing about our music genre, the pop lyric is that is appreciated worldwide . From Alaska to New Zealand , no matter the place or the language.

- How much do you know about the music of Argentina ? Would you like to in the future combine pop with a genre like the tango?

Gianluca : - We know Carlos Gardel and Astor Piazzolla. We are absolutely open to a possible combination between the music of Il Volo to tango . We love the tango !

When asked about the future , they reply that only focus on today: "At the moment we prefer to think in the present. Important thing now is to be together , be together , because everything is going well," says Gianluca . And you're right , this new album 'Mas Que Amor - is among the best-selling Latin albums in the United States.

No doubt Piero , Gianluca and Ignazio have the adrenaline you need for fame they are acquiring , in addition to what is already their trademark : really privileged voices . Egos , grandstanding and skills do not seem to take place in this group , from the outset , was defined as a trio of " three voices and one soul "
