IL VOLO to Tape PBS Specials at Fillmore Miami Beach
Due to the extraordinary success of the Italian teenage tenors' debut PBS Special "Il Volo Takes Flight," Live From The Detroit Opera House last year, the trio will shoot two more specials for PBS - "We Are Love" & "Buon Natale."
Both will be filmed in front of a live audience at The Fillmore Miami Beach at the Jackie Gleason Theater on March 26th & 27th. "We Are Love" will debut on PBS stations across the country beginning June 1, 2013 and "Buon Natale" will air starting November 30, 2013.

It's Christmas in March as the boys tape their new PBS Christmas special "Buon Natale" on March 27th. Guests are asked to wear their favorite Christmas attire or most outrageous Christmas sweater. Those dressed in Christmas cheer will be entered to win the chance to meet Il Volo on-stage during this taping. This concert will feature holiday favorites from "Silent Night" to "White Christmas," "Feliz Navidad" and more. Click here to purchase tickets for March 27th. Il Volo's debut PBS Special "Il Volo Takes Flight," Live From The Detroit Opera has seen over 2,100 broadcasts between its original airing in March 2012, and repeats in June and December 2012. The new specials, "We Are Love" and "Buon Natale," will be produced by Richard Jay-Alexander, directed by Scott Lochmus with Detroit PBS DBTV as the producing agent.
Il Volo, Piero Barone (19), Gianluca Ginoble (18) and Ignazio Boschetto (18), released their self-titled debut album in April 2011 where is debuted at No. 6 on the Billboard Top 200 Charts and has gone on to sell over 1 million copies worldwide. Il Volo's second album We Are Love was released last fall as the group finished up a North American headline tour and a guest spot on Barbra Streisand's tour. The trio's live performances have received standing ovations across the US and critical acclaim. I am so glad my boys have been found again. I was starting to worry since there has been no news of them since Christmas. I have all their US CDs and Dvd and can't wait to own these two new DVDs. I bring them..."To My Senses" almost daily.
