ReplyDeleteWhile I know they had a wonderful time performing together and that Laura Pausini is a fine vocalist in her own right, with great enthusiasm and positive energy, it is a bit of a challenge to find performers for collaboration who are up to the caliber of IL VOLO's incredible voices and magnificent harmonies.
ReplyDeleteWith great respect and appreciation, I don't think Laura's voice and her range sufficiently complements IL VOLO's voices as well as the key that best show cases their incredible talent.
I'm still looking for the optimal female vocalist to occasionally perform a song with IL VOLO. (Although, perhaps you are like me... totally content to hear simply IL VOLO, IL VOLO, and more IL VOLO! : )

Jeanine, I like your comment very much, and I agree with you. somehow I did not like the key Laura sang in and that was not the boy's key at all, but as usual, they can do anything. they are of such a standard that only people like Barbra Streisand seem to do them any justice, and ofcourse Placido Domingo. the next colaboration should be with Celine Dion
