Il Volo captivates Puerto Rico with their voices

In the middle of shouts of their followers , the Italian trio Il Volo conquered the Puerto Rican public yesterday with their powerful voices during their concert at the Coliseo de Puerto Rico , where they performed the best of their repertoire .
When appeared on the stage screens silhouettes Ginoble Gianluca , Piero Barone and Ignazio Boschetto - members of the lyrical pop group , the applause started and expressions of coquetry of the girls in the audience , who sang some of the known songs.
"Ignazio I love you " , a girl shouted again and again when listening to Memory by Barbra Streisand the favorite of the singer.

3 Good Looking Young Italian Guys Show Off Their Amazing Voices

On Friday I was assigned to write a piece on the Il Volo concert happening at Radio City Music Hall that night. Initially dreading that I had to go home shave and put on a shirt that didn’t have a Death Metal font across the chest I agree and cleaned myself for their first New York appearance in 2 years.
Since your Pandora stations most likely wont pull up one of their songs on a Pop playlist I will Il Volos fame in a few sentences. Il Volo started as 3 teenage Opera singers who met on a Italian music competition show called “Ti Lascio Una Canzone” in 2009. After the competition the boys formed Il Volo and broke the hearts of Moms, Grandmas, Aunts and younger Sisters around the world. Their charming good looks, boyish cuteness and surprisingly good Opera voices gave them international success in a genre that is pretty much not existent in Pop Culture. So I went to the world famous Radio City Music Hall to experience Il Volo in concert. .

Il Volo at The Amway Arena-Orlando

All invited by the  Mayor to the City of Orlando Suite at the Amway Arena to the Il Volo show. The show was a mixture of popular Italian songs, Il Volo’s most recent hits and during the second part of the show, they performed, classical Italian, and American songs, the Mexican Hit Granada, hits from Placido Domingo, Luis Miguel, Frank Sinatra, and Barbra Streisand, . I can’t explain the effect it caused but the audience was so moved that little by little they were getting closer to the stage. At the end a standing ovation, they were called back to the stage and performed three more songs, bringing the audience to a climax. A show that is a must see by everyone that is a serious admirer of great music and great voices.  Many thanks to Director of Multicultural Events for the City of Orlando, Luiz Martinez-Alicea for organizing everything. Review Il Volo at the Saroyan Theatre

You don’t have to search long and far on the Internet for times in which fans of Il Volo — the pop-opera singing trio that enthused a packed Saroyan Theatre Friday with a peppy, crowd-pleasing performance — rebuke the local music critic for not “getting it.” You know the online comment drill when it comes to transgressing reviewer: draw, quarter, eviscerate, turn into Italian meatballs, etc. The chief fan complaint: Critics treat Il Volo like it’s opera, and it isn’t. Don’t judge a group for what it isn’t trying to be.
([Note] Team Il Volo is not associated with this review)
And you know what? I’ll buy it. Il Volo isn’t opera. The group sings lots of songs in Italian, yes, and even some opera classics, but in no way, shape or form is this meant to represent the highly trained, specialized style that allows mere mortals to boom over full orchestras and fill 2,000-seat halls unamplified. Il Volo is pop-opera, and while its repertoire might lean toward the operatic — especially to American ears — the mentality is heavily pop, from the format (three adorable young guys wooing the audience) to the delivery (five musicians, heavily amplified and synthesized).

Il Volo We Are Love album review

Rate : 5/5
Il Volo  is back with their second album We are Love. Co-produced by Grammy winning producer Humberto Gatica and Tony Renis, this cd sends chills down your spine from beginning to end. It is clearly a masterpiece.
Beautifully interpreted , the album is emotionally intense.  Il Volo shines on the entire cd, offering perfect duets with Placido Domingo on Il Canto and Eros Ramazzotti on Cosi’ which is magnificent. They just take every song to another level. The harmony is flawless. The passion in their voices is pure delight whether on U2 cover Beautiful Day or the splendid version of the Aerosmith/Diane Warren Hit I don’t want to miss a thing. It is often even better than the original because the trio brings their unique touch of creativity. They also did justice to classics such as my first favorite Historia De Un Amor that tells the suffering after the death (or the loss) of a love. Just poignant.
Written by Diane Warren, I Bring You To My Senses  is an upcoming hit. Non Farmi Aspettare  is another highlight of this album and ends the album as strong as it began.
So We Are love is one of 2012 best albums. With their incredible voice on their debut record, they have conquered the world. With We are Love, Il Volo is going to dominate it.
